We had an amazing group vacation! Snorkeling around the Mamanuca Islands was lovely, and the diving offered by Deep Blue Diving was great. We enjoyed daily fishing trips too. Staff were friendly, and the activities kept us entertained all week.
One small issue was the noise from the pool filters at night, which forced us to keep the windows shut and use A/C.

Awesome place with its private beach, air conditioning, and saltwater pool. I still remember how the staff helped me with an early check-in. Highly recommend it for a romantic escape!

This place is a snorkeler's dream! The guided snorkeling trip around the island was the highlight of our stay. We saw fine reefs and an array of colorful fish. Plus, a trip to the island where they filmed Castaway was lovely. I also loved chilling at our beachfront bure with a private plunge pool.

Only stayed 2 nights, as we were in a hurry, but glad that chose this great relaxing hotel. The location seemed amazing and absolutely perfect by sea. Besides, it was near to a stunning tropical island in the middle of the pacific ocean, the reef and the scenery and beautiful surroundings. Was a perfect place for trip.

Huge and modern room, it had iron/ironing board, a work desk, and tea/coffee making equipment. It offered terrific service and outstanding food too.

No bells, no whistles, just facts
A lovely tranquil island where seclusion meets serenity. The Beach Front Villa offered fine views. Don't miss the snorkeling, though it's tide dependent. The pool is a great spot to unwind after exploring this beautiful paradise. A nice stay overall!

Everything about Matamanoa Island Resort was so great! The Beach Front Villa was fine, with a private plunge pool and beautiful outdoor furniture. The staff were really good, always great. Daily activities were well organized, and the snorkeling right off the beach was amazing.
The dining options could be more varied, as the menu felt somewhat limited at times.

The Beach Front Villa was spacious and offered amazing ocean views. Plus, the service dog was very welcome here!

The culinary highlight? Traditional local cakes that stole the show, with flavors that danced on my tongue! Plus, the staff were heartwarmingly friendly and the beachfront Bure provided easy access to the fine lagoon for hours of snorkeling magic.
A few bumps in the road, like lost bags and mismatched room descriptions, not cool! The food could use a serious upgrade. Repetitive vegetarian options and odd flavor pairings didn't sit well with our tastebuds. The housekeeping could hit pause during late hours.
